FRIEZE-ING IN LONDON vs EDINBURGH ART FAIR

ART REVIEW certainly summed it all up “There’s certainly bling to be found inside the Frieze London tent this year, in large part courtesy of Gagosian’s display of Jeff Koons’s ginormo multimillion-pound shiny stainless steel sculptures (complete with their own security detail). But apart from Koons himself, cheerfully posing for the press in front of his creations, there has, like last year, been less buzz, less glitz, less glam, less free-flowing booze and fewer showbiz celebs.”
Sarah Wilson say – well … this Thursday is the opening of the Edinburgh Art Fair with even less glitz, glam and celebs than London but its closer and my art is there being represented by the Arusha Gallery.
15 affordable pieces from my new collection called “Faded Stars”, prints on wood, worked into with pencil, varnished and sanded back to look like old posters peeling off walls.  Idea knicked from work I saw at the PAD Art Fair in London.  Hope to see you there xx
