Since lockdown Ive been looking at my huge blank canvas and having no idea where to start. So I stepped right outside my comfort zone and decided to paint things that I see in my house everyday …. so without further a do – here’s the stages of “LOCKDOWN IN WONDERLAND”
I have been as quiet as is possible for a red headed Scottish chick, creating new pieces of my “Faded Stars” series. Ive had plenty of time on my hands following a cancer operation last July and a follow up preventative op in January this year. I’ve been selling like crazy on Ebay to raise funds and I am delighted to say that I have been accepted to the Glasgow Contemporary Art Fair at Kelvingrove Marquee on 17, 18, 19 May 2019 where I will be exhibiting under Axolotl Gallery (the gallery I ran on Dundas Street, Edinburgh a few years ago).
Im going to be posting regularly on the lead up to the event and you can follow my video’s and photos at:
In the meantime here’s a picture of Daisy Mayhem my dachshund cos every great artist needs one
This is a Toyobo print – stay tuned to find out what that means – and its for sale at the Glasgow Art Fair framed in beech wood and glass frame for £160
